On 17 October 2012, the ASX released draft revisions to its continuous disclosure rules.  The ASX waited until after the High Court dismissed the case brought by ASIC against Fortescue Metals.

It is noted that the new guidance note is not intended to fundamentally change ASX’s approach to disclosure issues, but seeks to provide more information and clarity to help listed entities understand and comply with their disclosure obligations.
